Jun Sagawa (佐川 純, Sagawa Jun) is a student of Salt Middle School and the new president of the Body Improvement Club.

Appearance

Unlike most of the Body Improvement Club who are very tall, Jun is half the size of them, making him the second shortest member of the club. Despite his short size compared to the other members, he is still very muscular. He has flat, gray hair.

Personality

Like Mob, Jun usually isn't a very expressive person.

Plot

Teruki Hanazawa Arc

Like the rest of the club, Jun attacked Black Vinegar middle school to save Mob, but was easily defeated by Teruki Hanazawa.

Separate Ways Arc

Jun parties to celebrate Haruto Kijibayashi's birthday and Mob's physical improvement.

World Domination Arc

Jun place 7th in the marathon.

He and the rest of the club attempt to defend Mob from Hiroshi, but is unable to defeat him.

Epilogue

Jun is revealed to have become the new president of the Body Improvement Club after Musashi, and the others graduated.

Like most of the Body Improvement Club, Jun has significantly above-average strength.

Even though the Body Improvement club almost flunked the school, Jun is highly intelligent, as he could score 100, 100, 99, 98, and 100 in Japanese, Math, Sociology, Science, and English, respectively. In fact, his grades were the main reason the Body Improvement club was able to remain active at all.

Etymology

• The name Jun means "pure, clean, simple" (純).
• Jun's surname Sagawa means "help, aid" (佐) (sa) and "river, stream" (川) (kawa/gawa).
• Jun's namesake comes from the real life Jun Sagawa, Issei Sagawa's brother.

Trivia

• Jun's interest in animals gave him the aspiration to become a veterinarian.
• Jun may have been inspired by Connie Springer, one of the main characters of the series Attack on Titan. They are both a lot shorter than the rest of their team members and they also have their heads shaved.
